Colin P. Clarke, PhD, is the director of research at The Soufan Group and a senior research fellow at The Soufan Center. He is also a member of the editorial board of Studies in Conflict and Terrorism and Terrorism & Political Violence, two of the leading academic journals in terrorism studies. He earned his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, where he studied international security policy.
