Nektaria Petrou is a novelist and teacher of Modern Greek in the American Southwest. She received a postgraduate education in the United Kingdom and a life education in Greece, France and Turkey. Petrou holds a master of arts degree in Modern Greek studies, a postgraduate diploma in Byzantine studies and a bachelor of arts in English literature and classics, and has published essays in Turkish Press and Daily Sabah.
