Syria’s government said its air defenses responded to Israeli airstrikes targeting the T4 air base in Syria’s Homs desert tonight.

The Syrian state-run SANA news agency said the strikes resulted in material losses. The report comes a day after SANA said Israeli aircraft had targeted southern Syria. Pro-regime media said Tuesday's attack occurred outside of the capital, Damascus.
