Egypt withdraws from FIFA online friendlies

Two Egyptian soccer players have withdrawn from the FIFA eNations StayAndPlay Friendlies, over Israel’s participation.

CAIRO — Egyptian soccer players Ahmed El Sheikh and Ahmed Hassan Mahgoub Abdelmoneim, known as Kouka, withdrew from the FIFA eNations StayAndPlay Friendlies, over Israel’s participation.

Nations participating in the FIFA 20, a soccer video game published by Electronic Arts as part of the FIFA series, would nominate two players to compete remotely, via the internet, in their respective region through Playstation 4.
