Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian traveled to Saudi Arabia on Thursday, marking another milestone in the improved Saudi-Iranian relationship.
Amir-Abdollahian met his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan. The two discussed cooperation on security, the economy, trade, the environment and rescue operations. They also spoke about issues in the Muslim world, including the Palestinian issue. The Iranian diplomat said that Iran-Saudi relations are "on the right track" following the meeting, Iran's official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.

Prince Faisal said the kingdom is eager to boost security and economic cooperation between the two countries. He also said is looking forward to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi visiting the kingdom, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.
