Iran moves on from India's Prophet Muhammad controversy

Iranian diplomats have praised India’s response to members of its ruling Bharatiya Janata Party who insulted Islam.

Iran is satisfied with India's response to a controversy over two Indian politicians’ comments on the prophet of Islam Muhammad. 

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian visited New Delhi on June 8 to meet with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. They discussed how to strengthen bilateral cooperation, and the Iranian diplomat described Iran-India ties as “very good,” the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported
