Syria, Iraq discuss boosting trade

The two countries also discussed cooperation on oil imports earlier this year.

An Iraqi delegation was in Damascus today to discuss boosting trade between Iraq and Syria.

Syria’s Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Hassan Qatana held the meeting with a group of Iraqi business people. They discussed investment opportunities, maintaining joint committees between the two countries and the reputation of Syrian goods in Iraq, Syria’s official news outlet SANA reported.
