Lebanese justice minister meets families of port explosion detainees

Several Beirut port officials were arrested in relation to the deadly explosion in 2020, and their families want them released.

Lebanon’s justice minister met today with families of those detained in relation to the Beirut port explosion. 

A delegation representing 15 detained individuals met with Justice Minister Henri Khoury in his office. They demanded the release of their loved ones until an investigation is completed, the official National News Agency reported.
