Palestinian president to visit Turkey

The delayed Palestinian elections, reconstruction in Gaza and Israel will be among the subjects discussed between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is set to arrive in the capital Ankara today, Friday, and remain in the country for three days following an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to the Palestinian news outlet WAFA.

Erdogan and Abbas will discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Turkey-Palestine relations, reconciliation between Palestinian groups and the delayed elections in the Palestinian territories, according to Turkey’s official Anadolu Agency.
