Tunisia banned travel within the country and instituted several other anti-virus measures today as it struggles to contain an outbreak of COVID-19.

Authorities on Thursday banned travel between governorates, suspended school classes and prohibited gatherings of more than four people, Reuters reported. Secondary schools can reopen on Nov. 8 and universities can do so on Nov. 12. Protests are also not allowed, and the government implemented a national curfew starting at 8 p.m. on weeknights and 7 p.m. on weekends, according to the outlet.
