Arab League to meet over Israel’s West Bank annexation plan

The pan-Arab organization will discuss controversial Israeli plans under a government unity deal to annex parts of the West Bank.

The Arab League will gather for an emergency virtual meeting this week to discuss Israeli plans to annex parts of the West Bank, the organization said Monday. 

The Palestinian Authority is covening the pan-Arab group Thursday to “discuss ways of providing political, legal and financial support for the Palestinian leadership so that it can confront the Israeli plan," according to Hossam Zaki, Arab League deputy secretary-general.
