Vincent Van Gogh once said, "As we advance in life it becomes more and more difficult, but in fighting the difficulties the inmost strength of the heart is developed." This quote summarizes the story of Seham el-Moghazi, a former bank employee who became one of the first female plumbers in Egypt.
After she obtained a vocational diploma in 1972, Moghazi worked as an account department worker at one of Egypt's largest banks. After seven years, she met her husband and they had three children: a son, Basem, and two daughters, Basant and Bardis.
