Florence Massena on why she writes

Al-Monitor contributor Florence Massena shares her thoughts on journalism.

Florence Massena, a journalist based in Beirut who writes about economic, cultural and social matters, has been writing for Al-Monitor since September 2014. She studied political science and journalism in Toulouse and has traveled in the Middle East region since 2010. She mainly focuses on heritage and women's issues, as well as positive ideas for Lebanon.
