Palestinians see US-Israel 'crisis' as temporary

According to Palestinian officials, reports of a crisis threatening US-Israeli ties are overblown, as the US administration remains committed to Israel.

RAMALLAH, West Bank — Despite numerous media reports about a crisis in US-Israeli relations, Palestinians seem unmoved.

Although the US administration called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to work on calming the situation in Jerusalem, the latter did just the opposite on Nov. 3, when his government approved the building of 500 housing units in Ramat Shlomo, to US and European condemnation.
